Part 2 · Build the plan

07Calculate both directions

Every number for both orders, before either is placed.

Inside high 1.1215, low 1.1175, three-pip buffer = 0.0003.

Buy stop = 1.1215 + 0.0003 = 1.1218.
Sell stop = 1.1175 − 0.0003 = 1.1172.
Distance between triggers = 46 pips (larger than the 40-pip range).

Direction	Entry	Stop	Target
Buy	1.1218	1.1172	1.1264
Sell	1.1172	1.1218	1.1126

Buy target = fill + (fill − stop). Sell target = fill − (stop − fill). If the buy fills at 1.1220 with the stop at 1.1172, the distance is 48 pips and the target is 1.1268.
