Part 4 · Protect the account

14A valid pattern may be impractical

Some inside bars are too wide, some too narrow.

Mother bar high 1.1400, low 1.1000 (400 pips). The inside bar range is 140 pips, so the risk distance with buffers is 146 pips.

A valid pattern may be impractical.

1Risk at the minimum 0.01 lot: $4.80 for the 40-pip bar, $14.80 for the 140-pip bar.
2The wide bar exceeds the $12.50 budget, so skip it if 0.01 is the minimum.

Hypothetical illustration, not real market data.

Very narrow bars create a different problem: spread and buffers dominate, and small moves trigger orders often.

Honest note

Do not tighten the stop to make the lot fit.
