Part 2 · Set up and apply the rules

03Build a clean workspace

Set up one chart the same way every time.

Use a demo account and an ordinary EUR/USD candlestick chart. Platform menus differ, but the settings are simple.

Setting	Practice specification
Symbol	EUR/USD
Timeframe	H1
Moving average	Simple, 50, on close
Horizontal spacing	0.0025
Example levels	1.1150, 1.1175, 1.1200, 1.1225, 1.1250
Display	Bid and ask

Draw levels before the signal

Extend the same 25-pip grid above and below the market. Never move a line to make an old trade look better.

A repeatable routine

Review completed hourly candles in the first four hours after London opens. Log the time in Europe/London and map it to your broker clock; seasonal clock changes can shift it.

Honest note

If your platform labels 1.1200 to 1.1225 as 250 points, that can be correct on a five-decimal quote. Check the symbol specification rather than guessing.

Key takeaway

Same chart, same levels, same review window. Consistency comes before any result.

Try it

Open a demo chart and draw the five example levels. Measure the gap between two of them.
